SACK Family Campout

Make plans to join the other Boy Scout Packs, Troops and Venture Crew at the 2nd annual SACK Campoutin the Fall of 2012.  Details include:

  • When:   TBD in Sept or Oct, 2012
  • Where:  Bert Adams Scout Reservation (Covington, GA)
  • Who:     All Scouts in JCUMC Scout Units
  • Why:     To have fun, enjoy the outdoors and meet scouts and leaders in the other Scout units at JCUMC
  • Cost:     In addition to your unit's food cost, there will be a $5/ adult and $10/ scout fee. 

We plan to have 400 scouts, leaders and family members at this awesome campout.  Packs typically don't camp together, and packs & troops typically do not camp together either.  So this will be an historic event on a couple of levels.  Net proceeds from the event will go towards the Scout Center. 

The agenda available below shows that there will be individual unit time during the day on Saturday when units can spend time as a pack, troop or crew by themselves.  And the other half of Saturday will be spent with everyone engaged in a great big group activity.  So you don't want to miss grand campout.
