The Scout program at JCUMC conducts fundraising on multiple levels for various purposes. For example, each pack, troop or crew conducts its own fundraising activities to meet its operational needs. That may include popcorn sales, flag subscriptions, Christmas wreath sales, Christmas tree pickups, bake sales or other events.

Scout Center Capital Campaign

Separately, Scouting At The Creek (SACK) and JCUMC also conduct fundraising activities in order to raise money for the Johns Creek Scout Center being built in the next couple of years.  JCUMC is leading a capital campaign on behalf of the scout community at JCUMC to raise $2.72 million to build a 20,500 square foot scout-dedicated facility that will be placed at the end of the church property on Bell Road. This campaign will be conducted mostly within the scout community.

Operating Funds Campaign

SACK works with our scout units and the community to raise funds for the operational needs of our scout program, particularly as it relates to the future operations of the Scout Center. The SACK and JCUMC's scout units conduct a number of fundraising activities throughout the year to fund an endowment that will pay for the ongoing operational expenses of the Scout Center once built.
